Making complex energy services easier to understand and use

Challenge

Insite Energy works with housing associations, managing agents and developers to deliver metering and billing services for heat networks across the UK, while also supporting residents living in those properties.

As the business grew, their website needed to do more to support two distinct audiences: residents looking for clear guidance and reassurance, and B2B clients wanting to understand Insite's services, experience and compliance expertise.

The opportunity was to create a clearer, more purposeful digital experience that made it easier for residents to self-serve, while giving commercial audiences a more complete and confident view of the business.

Outcome

We redesigned the website around two clearly defined journeys, supported by a consistent digital brand system.

For residents, we created a clear Support Hub with calm, accessible design focused on simple navigation and quick access to help. For B2B audiences, we developed a more confident, service-led experience that clearly explains what Insite does, how they work and why they're trusted in a complex regulatory environment.

We built the site using modular components, giving Insite the flexibility to grow and update content as their business evolves.
